Piero goes to Kenya

Proud Baggies founder Piero Zizzi has today arrived in Kenya to work with Inspire Afrika as a volunteer at The Clive Academy.

Thanks to the generosity of Proud Baggies, Albion fans, and former players like Hayley Crackle, Piero has been able to take over spare WBA kit to give as gifts to the school children at the academy.

Piero will be out in Kenya for the next 12 days, helping with building work and development of the academy’s grounds and facilities, as well as working with the children at the academy in lessons and sport.

We’ll be doing a follow-up feature blog and interview with Piero about his time in Kenya after his return, but if you would like to support Piero’s fundraising campaign you can do so via the button below.
