Football Fridays
Wind down at the end of the week with an hour of indoor football at the West Bromwich Albion Community Centre.
Proud Baggies host a free, one-hour football session every Friday from 7pm til 8pm all throughout the year.
This hour kickabout is a bit of fun. Our Friday sessions are for people to enjoy football at their own pace, so that everyone gets to take part in the beautiful game and can be sociable without worrying.
Take a look at what's on offer in our teaser video above, featuring former West Bromwich Albion captain and Northern Ireland international Chris Brunt taking part in one of our very first sessions!
Proud Baggies is an inclusive organisation, so all abilities and genders are welcome at our Friday football sessions.
Members also don't have to be part of the LGBTQ+ community - allies are welcome to sign up, join in, and play fair.
We play on an indoor hardcourt surface at the Community Centre, so we advise wearing trainers with a suitable grip to avoid slipping.
Parking and toilets are available, as are player changing rooms should you wish to change at the venue rather than beforehand.
All are welcome - pending registration.
All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
Players must follow the rules of play.
Be respectful towards your fellow members.
How To Find Us
Friday Football is held in the West Bromwich Albion Community Sports Hall at the front of the academy site.
Parking is available directly out front of the centre, to the right as you enter through the academy gates. Should these spaces be full then the main car park is to the left.
Visitors are reminded there is a No Smoking policy on site, and to drive slowly and with caution due to the volume of visitors to the academy - especially youngsters.
For any additional queries, please email info@proudbaggies.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
