PBFC Annual General Meeting

Having launched at the start of 2024, the growth of Proud Baggies FC and the challenges inherent in such expansion led to Proud Baggies holding its first PBFC Annual General Meeting (AGM) this month, to allow management and players to have their say on the state of the team: both the positives and any negatives, and the aims for the future.

Meeting in the East Stand’s Bassett Suite, the event lasted around 90 minutes and was led by Proud Baggies general secretary Neil Basterfield, who also collated feedback for those members unable to attend.

Members were given an open opportunity to discuss any aspect of PBFC, and to provide feedback and suggestions about how we should operate going forwards into the next season and beyond. This included aspects such as training, tournaments, friendlies, participation in a competitive league, logistics and management, team set-up, match play, rules and procedures, volunteer positions, and fundraising - as well as anything else anyone wished to raise.

For more information on what was discussed, or to further discuss issues raised, please drop us an email at info@proudbaggies.com.
