One of our Own
We're delighted to announce that Proud Baggies photographer Liam Sheasby has been appointed WBA Women's team photographer for the upcoming 2025/26 season. He replaces Frankie Crewe-Green who is expecting a baby at the end of August, and we wish both the best of luck for the future.
Speaking about the appointment, Liam said: “I’m thrilled to have been appointed the new Albion Women’s photographer and I’m hugely thankful to Frankie and Louis Bent for their recommendation of me, and to Shev (Hodgetts-Still) and Sean Watts for their trust in me taking over the role.
“I’ve been an amateur photographer for 20 years now and taken the odd paid gig but this is a significant step up - and it was only last season that I married my love of photography and my love of football together. That’s thanks to Proud Baggies and especially the work done with PBFC.
“Last season was a revelation to me in terms of enjoyment but it clearly paid off in the pictures I took. I’m so excited to get cracking with this season and to do my utmost to showcase the women and capture what we all hope to be winning moments on camera.”
Liam will be present at all home and away games this season, as well as occasional training sessions, so go and show your love on the WBA Women’s socials for his work throughout the campaign. You can see all of Liam’s photos via the links below, or a selection of his favourites in the gallery - including a few peeks at the Albion’s first pre-season training session from this evening!
