Proud Baggies member Shereen Johal organised and hosted a LGBTQ+ Sub-Committee Transgender panel discussion on behalf of Birmingham Law Society for Transgender Awareness Week 2024.

The event, which ran from 6pm til 8:30pm at the Shoosmiths offices at 103 Colmore Row, saw fellow PB member and trans woman Claire Byatt as one of the invited speakers, detailing her heartfelt life experiences with late transitioning.

Other attendees included Jamie Adams - a clerk at Halcyon Chambers, Robin Wright - an Employment Law Barrister at Old Square Chambers, and Steph Keeble - Director of Birmingham LGBT.
