Sarah K is F.A.B.
Proud Baggies are delighted to reveal that our vice chair, Sarah Kerton, will be representing our organisation as part of West Bromwich Albion’s inaugural Fan Advisory Board (FAB), with the board’s first meeting to be held at The Hawthorns tomorrow (Thursday October 16th).
Sarah is the Deputy CEO of the National Union of Students UK, and chair of the board of a youth engagement charity, giving her the necessary experience to represent the needs and wishes of Proud Baggies.
Proud Baggies chair and founder Piero Zizzi said: “We’re delighted that Sarah will represent Proud Baggies on the newly formed WBA Fan Advisory Board. I’m sure we all agree that she will represent our group and our community impeccably.”
Sarah has been an Albion supporter from birth, attending her first game with her brothers in 1993, before purchasing her first season ticket after the launch of Proud Baggies.
In the club’s press release, they describe FAB as “part of the club's wider Fan Engagement Plan and [it] will be a high-level, strategic conduit for two-way dialogue between supporters and the club's key decision makers.”
Proud Baggies, as an official supporters’ group of the club and affiliated with the Football Supporters’ Association, will have a seat on the board every year, though our choice of representative may change over time.
